Local Rules

1. OUT OF BOUNDS

Beyond any fence bounding the Course and the white pegs to the right of the 2nd & 7th hole, and a line around the concrete edges of the Club House, equipment storage building, and the Greenkeepers buildings and operational area.

2. PROTECTION OF YOUNG TREES

Trees identified by a stake are to be treated as “No Play Zones” Rule 16.1f and relief taken as per rule 16.1a (immovable obstruction).

3.POWER LINES AND SUPPORTING POLES

If a ball strikes either of these, the shot shall be cancelled, and the shot replayed, without penalty, as near as possible to the point the original shot was played from. Attachments to poles are deemed part of the pole.

4. STONES

Relief may be taken from stones 20mm or larger (10 cent coin) using Rule 16.1a

5. WHEEL RUTS AND TRACKS

Wheel ruts and tracks by vehicles, all paths and roads through the General Area are Abnormal Ground Conditions. If a ball is lying in or touching either, relief may be taken as immovable obstructions in accordance with Rule 16.1a.

6. PREFERRED LIES.

Placing is allowed of one club length for a ball lying on a closely mown area on the hole being played and may be lifted without penalty, and cleaned. Before lifting the ball the Player must mark it’s position. Having lifted the ball, that ball must then be placed within 1 Club length of, and not nearer the hole than where it originally lay, that is not in a Penalty Area, and not on a Putting Green.

7. IMMOVABLE OBSTRUCTIONS

Protective screens by women’s tees are immovable obstructions. All sheds, huts stiles, and buildings through the General Area are immovable obstructions. Free relief for all of these may be taken from stance or swing obstruction per Rule 16.1a – Line of flight relief may only be “incidental" in this process.

8. GARDENS

Gardens to the right of #1 Tee, the Women’s Tee #5 and behind #8 Men’s Tee are  "No Play Zones". Free relief may be taken using the point of entry as the reference point then Rule 16.1b. A ball may not be “lost" in these areas. 16.1e.

ETIQUETTE

No Motorised Carts within 5 metres of any Green

Tees are to be used on all Tees

Your place in the field is behind the Group in front, not in front of the Group behind.

Take a sand bucket and replace all divots through the General Area.

Repair pitch marks on greens.

Shirts are to be worn at all times on-course and in the Club House.

Shoes worn on the course not to be worn in the clubhouse.

No practice swings on the Tee Block.

If playing alone or a “practice” round, no more than two balls allowed.

Please lower the flag on greens – don’t just drop.

Practice “Ready Golf”.

Please leave rakes in bunkers.
